Hi! Welcome to my blog. My name is Cheryl. I am a designer, creator, maker and jewelry and essential oil aromatics artist. I am co-owner and the force behind CKS ventures. I am a wife, a mom of kitty furry babies, a bartender and CPA. I am a jack of many trades and master of none! I am a “wanna-be” of a whole bunch of things, including a blogger.
For the past four years, I feel like my life has been on hold. In 2014 we moved from Houston, Texas to North Carolina. In North Carolina we moved from Morrisville, to Chapel Hill and are now finally settled in Hillsborough after building our “forever” home. I have been on a hiatus for most of those four years from my jewelry business.
Time to quit procrastinating. Our home is built. We are moved in and mostly settled. My new website is finished. I have no more excuses! It is time to “just do it.” So here is me plunging back into my business head first. Including trying my hand at blogging again. I have tried, admittedly not very hard and I certainly wasn’t committed.

My goal with this blog is to inform. Not only about my business, but on every day life happenings. To advise. From everything you need to know about installing a septic system but never really wanted to know to tips on soldering! To inspire. And, occasionally (hopefully) entertain and make you laugh out loud!
